Our Design Process

  1. Mission and Objective - defining the project, the project goals and how to achieve them.
    • We'll meet with you to discuss all aspects of your plans.
  2. Proposal & Cost Estimate - the “blueprint” phase.
    • J3media will develop a comprehensive proposal outlining how we can deliver what you need and what it will cost. For web sites, this will include an initial site map and, if needed, process diagrams.
    • Once you accept the proposal, you will sign an agreement with J3media and submit one half of the cost.
  3. Initial Design – thumbnails and mockups.
    • We review your likes and dislikes to work toward a design.
  4. Design – digital build out.
    • We create a digital version of the design for your approval.
    • When you're satisfied, you sign off and submit the next 25% of the project's cost.
  5. Development – Projects are prepared for printing, coding, build out.
    • Depending on the nature of the project, this can be the longest phase.
  6. Beta Testing – test site is set up.
    • You can view our progress, test custom programming, proof content, list the features you'd like to see in the future.
  7. Final Review
    • You make a thorough check of the website or graphic design project.
  8. Sign-off and/or Launch
    • Upon satisfaction, you sign off and pay the final balance.
    • You receive your graphic design project and/or your website goes live.
  9. Training (if required)
    • Learn to use your content management system, read your stats, etc.
  10. 30 Day Follow-up
    • Take advantage of free telephone and web-based technical support for our web sites for 30 days after your site is launched.
  11. Monitoring & Maintenance
    • We love our clients! We offer ongoing technical support, additional programming, training, website maintenance, consulting, search engine optimization, and more.
