Our Team

Our team is a mix of complementary talents working together to create much more than the sum of our individual capabilities. We respect, like, and take care of one another. We appreciate the community we are engaged in. We extend this sense and sentiment to our customers.

Joel Richards is our "Papa Bear". One of the founders of J3, he is our Pillar of Strength and Safe  Harbor in the Tempest. Quiet, practical, and forward thinking, Joel takes a programming lead on projects involving high levels of functionality. Joel has been programming in ColdFusion since 1999 and coding HTML and Javascript since 1997.

Josh Tischer burns through the internet like a rocket on fire. Another original founder, he is highly skilled in web development and programming. Josh's innovation and charisma breathe the life of possibility into ideas unconsidered or scoffed at by others. Born with a computer mouse in hand, Josh has a BS in Computer Science and has been programming in ColdFusion since 2003.

Margaret Babiarz is our quirky creative. Margaret's main focus is chasing The Muse, and she does so with delicacy and practice, drawing our customers' needs from their minds onto paper, then into digital format. She takes artistic lead on graphic and web design projects. Margaret holds a degree in Art & Design and is certified in client/server technologies. She has been designing web sites since 1999.

Joan Zwisler brings her vast creative background to focus on business and marketing strategy, quality content generation, and leveraging project needs. She maintains a high-level perspective over detail-oriented tasks and provides firm, compassionate leadership and advice. A former radio journalist, Joan is a master communicator and able to ferret out our clients' needs before they know they have needs. Joan has a BFA in photography from Parsons School of Design.

Deven Meininger is the gears of our clockwork, the glue in our seams. Highly organized, motivated, cheerful, and tack-sharp, Deven manages our clients' needs, heads up communications, and ensures that nothing slips through the cracks. A former Special Education teacher, Deven migrated to Durango last summer. J3media is fortunate to have found her.
